1. Phishing Simulation editor makes it easy to create or modify e-mail templates used during Simulation Campaigns. To Create or modify e-mail templates, go to Phishing Simulation --> Templates.
2. On this page, you can view all available templates and their contents. At the top of the template list, you can select the language of the templates. To edit/create a new template, please clone one of the existing templates. Select the base template and clone by clicking the “Clone” icon.
3. The system automatically creates one copy of the current template and requests a new name for the cloned template. Enter the title and click the “Clone” to save the new template.
4. Move to the bottom of the templates list and select the newly created template. You can edit or delete this template. Click the edit symbol on the template, and a new editor window opens, populated with content.
5. You can change the content of your e-mail template using this HTML editor. You can also click the “Source” on the left-top corner of the editor to edit the source of the e-mail template.
6. Do not change variables in the form of ”#{….}”. These are variables and are replaced with the actual values during the execution time. For example, #{recipient_name} is replaced with the name of the e-mail receiver.
7. There are two tabs on top of the editor window, Mail and Page. The page tab allows the editing of the page's content the user landed on when the link is clicked in the simulation e-mail.
8. After completing the changes, click the “Save” button to start using the new template.
9. Finally, test the template using the “send e-mail” button on the top-right corner. The system asks for the sender and recipient of the e-mail. The body of the test e-mail is created using the template. Also, you can view the landing page by navigating the “Page” tab. Click the “Open” button to view the new landing page.
10. Once all checks are done, the new template is ready to use in the Simulation Campaigns.
