Notification Settings allow users to create generic templates for notifications and alert messages. These templates are used in the alert settings of the Policy definitions.
Under Notification Settings menu, you can view defined alert templates. Defined templates can be edited by using the "..." action menu at the end of each entry. Alert templates contain general information about the alerts. To add more details to the alert message double-click on the available parameters. Available parameters can change based on module and event type.
To create a new template, click the "+Alert Configuration" button to access the alert templates definition page.
In the definition page, select the type of alert templates by using the Alert Type combo box. According to the selection, definition fields will be updated.
For e-mail alerts, define receiver address and subject fields. Four generic variables are available for templates. These variables will be replaced with actual values at execution time. To put a variable into the fields, double click on it.
