Under the Settings page, you can set parameters related to the Outlook Add-in.
General Info section contains Add-in installation link and E-mail Server Type selection for the current organization. Before copying or downloading installation file you should set E-mail server type. Default value is Office 365.You can install the add-in by clicking "copy" link or you can download installation xml file by clicking "download" link. It is recommended to use the link for Office 365 based deployments. For Microsoft Exchange Server-based deployments, downloading the file and uploading to the Microsoft Exchange Server should be preferred.
Due to a Microsoft update on office-js add-in infrastructure, please make sure at least Exchange 2019 cumulative update seven is applied to enable the add-in work on OWA. Download Security Update For Exchange Server 2019 CU7 (KB4581424) from Official Microsoft Download Center.
To Install the add-in copy the link and go to Office 365 add-in manager using File-->Manage Add-ins and outlook redirects you to add-in installation page. On the Add-in installation page, go to My add-ins --> Add Custom add-in and paste copied the add-in URL. The add-in is automatically installed.
The agentless add-in settings can be customized from this menu. The agentless add-in is a platform independent add-in and does not require installation on end user device.
Display Name: Company Name of Add-in.
Button Title: Display Name of Add-in.
Description: Screen Tip of Add-in.
Disclaimer Message: String used to notify user to activate analysis in thedisclaimer mesage
Additional Message: Informative message shown to the user when the agentless add-in activated.
The agent based add-in settings can be customized from this menu. The agentless add-in can be installed on windows platform and work as part of Outlook e-mail client.
Display Name: Company Name of Add-in.
Button Title: Display Name of Add-in.
The Add-in Setting page contains settings related to e-mail reporting and deletion of e-mails from user inbox.
Time Interval for Checking E-Mails for Deletion on User Inbox: The user mailbox will be checked to find the e-mails that needs to be deleted. This parameter indicates the interval to be checked on the user mailbox.
Subject Prefix for E-mail to be Reported: Generic Subject Information for the e-mail that will be sent.
Forward a Copy of the E-mails Reported to the Following Address: Mailbox Adress to which original e-mail can be forwarded as an attachment.
Thank You Message to be Shown After Reporting of an E-mail: Thanks message content after the e-mail is reported.
Enable Automatic Approval for Safe-Sender: if enabled, user can add a sender e-mail address in trusted list locally.
Enable Block Sender: if enabled, user can add a sender e-mail address in deny list locally.
Enable Reporting: if enabled, user can report an e-mail to administrator.
Enable Checking on Archived E-Mails: if enabled, Add-in analyses e-mail in the archived (Online Archive) folder.
Automatic deletion or notification takes place based on category information of domains in the e-mail. The add-in queries for the category information for each domain in the e-mail using DNSCyte integration and executes automatic actions based on the settings.
Automatically Delete E-mails Categorized as Malicious: When enabled e-mails containing links or domain information matching the defined categories are automatically deleted.
Enable Automatic Reporting When Macro/JavaScript is Found in Attachments:When enabled, reports e-mails which have attachment contains macro(office docs) or JavaScript (pdf docs)
Enable Automatic Reporting When Suspicious Context in Files: When enabled, reports the e-mails with category information in the following categories in the attachment.
DNSCyte Categories for Automatic E-mail Deletion: E-mails containing links or domain information matching the defined categories will be automatically deleted.
DNSCyte Categories for Notification: When an e-mail containing links or domain information matching the defined categories is received the user will be automatically notified.
Some e-mails can be excluded from inspection based on sender domain or the content within the body.
Exception List for Sender Domains: Incoming e-mails from e-mail addresses defined in this setting will be excluded from analysis.
Exception List for Domains in E-mail Body: Incoming e-mails containing links from the defined domains will be excluded from analysis.
